Bailey's Big Win!
Tuesday night my daughter, Bailey, came in 2nd in the Mt. Zion District Spelling Bee! She was beat out by an 8th grader, (she's in 6th). We are soooooooo proud of her! The final 4 from the bee will participate in the Macon County Spelling Bee on Feb. 11th. She has her sights on the nationals in Washington D.C......we'll see;) I'm still waiting for her to bring home a list of spelling words to study.....she won her school's bee and the district bee without studying any list. Two of the words on Tuesday night were crazy hard.....she didn't know the definition of either one, guessed and got them right! It was a nail biter!
