Here's Mud in Your Eye!

Sunday night I took the kids out to the back yard, made a mud pit and told them to go hog wild:)  I love the images I was able to capture!  The boys had so much fun!  They couldn't believe how dirty I let them get! :)  They've been asking everyday to go back out to play in the mud........I don't think so, fellas!

Bailey.....

Last night I took Bailey out for some MORE fun:)  We are working on a project for her room:  Posters!!  Instead of having posters of movie stars, we decided to make posters of her!  These are just a few of the images we like most, but she thinks maybe we should go back out somtime soon for more pictures.  I think she's enjoying being in front of the camera!

Fun in the Sun!

On Father's Day the kids wanted to play in the water, so we pulled out the sprinkler......and the camera:)  I will make a photoshoot out of an ordinary day, much to my kids' dismay;)

The Eilts Family

It's a small world!  Twelve years ago we had some pretty awesome neighbors.  Then as time passed, we all went our separate ways.  We stayed in Illinois and our neighbors moved to Virginia.  Last year they decided to relocate to Central Arkansas and just recently, my husband's job lead us to Arkansas as well.  We don't live next door anymore, but we're close enough to reconnect and get our kids together to play! So, last Saturday our old neighbors, the Eilts family met up with us for a fun photoshoot and a trip to the IMAX theater to see Toy Story 3.  All in all it was a pretty awesome day!

Miss Bailey

We just moved into a great neighborhood here in Benton!  Directly behind our house is a giant field which made the perfect backdrop for my photoshoot with my daughter, Baileyl  We had so much fun!  I love watching her grow up!  She never ceases to amaze me.  My beautiful girl!

Arkansas...our new home!

What a wonderful adventure we've been on for the past few months!  Making the decision to move to Arkansas wasn't difficult.  It was the best choice we could have made!  As the movers were loading up the truck for the long haul down south we stood and watched as our lives were packed in boxes and driven away.  There was a moment of sadness and tears, but it was fleeting.  No way were we going to look at this as a sad day!!

We took a couple days to make the trip down to our new home.  Sunday and Monday were spent mozying down the road.  Tuesday was spent exploring Little Rock.  And Wednesday was the BIG DAY!  We signed what seemed like a thousand papers, but when it was all said and done we were homeowners!

We immediately drove from the title company to our new home:)  Then we spent the remainder of the day roaming the property, checking out all the empty rooms and mentally placing the furniture, seeing as the moving truck was still a day away.
Thursday came and so did all our stuff!  It was nice to direct 'traffic' as the movers brought in boxes and boxes and BOXES!  I was starting to worry that we were going to run out of room!  But as we started opening everything and filling cabinets and closets...and the attic and garage.....we realized that after a 'small' garage sale, we should be set;)

That brings us to Friday....yesterday.  I packed the kids up at 8 o'clock and made the 9 hour drive to my parents house to stay for a couple days.  I'm shooting a wonderful friend's wedding then I'm going to RELAX!  I'm anxious to get back to the new place!  Jon is there overseeing the installation of phone, dish network and other necessities.  He's such a great husband!

So, now I sit and write while the kids are still asleep in my sister's room and the only sound I hear are the tree frogs and birds chirping.  Yes, it's been an adventure....and it's not over yet!!
