Wow! A friend of mine gave me a few photographers' websites to check out.....then each of those photographers' recommended links to other photographers....and so on and so on....

I now have over 150 photography websites in my favorites! I've only looked through a couple, but I'm more inspired than ever! What I love about the majority of photographers is that they are very encouraging and eager to give tips and inspiration. They don't mind if you use a version of their idea to make it your own. So, I've got a few things brewing that you'll want to stay tuned for. But here's just a taste:

~In January, I will be on the lookout for high school seniors for my Senior Ambassador Program.

~Each month I will be having some sort of give away, discount or promotion.

~I'm in the process of defining my 'Giving Back' session. It's basically a free session for families who have an infant/child in a nicu at an area hospital. If you have any questions now, feel free to call me!!

~SOON I will be making an announcement about another casting call........a free session for a specific category that I'm working on.

So far, that's it..........but I'm sure there will be more!!

Business & Commercial Photography

I'm happy to start offering this service! I've been asked if it was available, but I hadn't 'defined' my session. So, here it is....

Your business/commercial session includes:

~An hour of my time

~All images burnt to a disc for you to use as you wish. Upload them to your website. Take them to the printer who makes your press packets......they're yours!

~Cost: $100($50 for each additional hour.

I love photography! I love everything about my camera and lens'. I love when my phone rings and it's someone who says, 'You don't know me, but I saw your work online and I'm wanting you to take my picture." I love, LOVE meeting new people!
I love discovering alleys and abandoned homes and old rusty cars for backdrops! I love it when I'm downloading my files after a long day and an image comes across the screen that takes my breath away. I love the wrinkles on old peoples' faces and the smooth cheeks on a baby.
I love when my customers get tears in their eyes when they look at their images. I love it when I get tears in my eyes when I look at my customers images;)
I love when people show up with ideas! I love when I wake up in the night with ideas! :) I love spending hours online looking at photography sites that inspire me to be better. I love encouragement. I love other photographers who stop by to give a tip or two....that's utterly priceless!
I love it when natural light bounces off a child's eyes! I love being busy! I love down time, too! I love my customers!
I love it.........I love my life. I love the choices I've made. And I love my job!

Tori & Jenna's Christmas Session

My little nieces are getting so big! Tori came to us 3 Christmas' ago and Jenna arrived last Thanksgiving. They are our sweet little Holiday babies! I was able to take advantage of the beautiful weather we've been having and spend some time trying to get them to smile for me:) As you can see from the pictures......it was slightly challenging! But the end result made us all happy. Two beautiful girls who bring us so much joy!

'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' Sessions at Long Creek Vineyards!!

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to go back to Long Creek Vineyards to shoot 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' sessions!!

These sessions may require a bit of bundling up, but that's the point! 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' sessions are fun and very relaxed. I love capturing those fun moments when the kids are running and playing or when families are just interacting with each other and don't even realize I'm there:) I'm already booking, so you'll want to take advantage while you can!

I will be shooting on Friday, November 27th from noon until 4 and Sunday, November 29th from noon until 2:30. This time it's going to be a little different, though. I'm going to offer full sessions AND mini sessions.

The full session includes;

~Approximately an hour sitting in various areas on the grounds of the vineyard.

~A 5x7 of my favorite shot.

~A disc with ALL of your images. You will retain rights to these images, so you can to go any photo retailer and print your own enlargements/reprints/Christmas cards...etc.

~AND the first 20 people to book a full session will receive a gift certificate for $50 to use on a future session with me:) Or you can give it as a gift to someone you love.

Total cost: $125.00

The mini session includes;

~Approximately 20 to 30 minute sitting in a couple areas on the grounds of the vineyard.

~A disc with ALL of your images. You will retain rights to these images, so you can go to any photo retailer and pring your own enlargements/reprints/Christmas cards....etc.

Total cost: $50.00
