Well, I gave myself the challenge of learning how to knit the Stork Pouch. And I did it! (I was shocked, too!). Anyhoo, they are now available for purchase and come with a matching hat. I was out looking at other Stork Pouches and they typically run between $50 and $85......YIKES. So, I'm making mine available for $30 plus $3 shipping.
They are custom made, so if you're interested let me know what color(s) you'd like:)
Thanks a TON!!!

Newest Adventure:)
Last week I was online shopping for new props and found some really cute newborn cacoons. My first thought: "I wish I knew how to knit so I could make this myself." My second thought: "No way am I paying that much!"
So, I sulked for a little while and logged off. About an hour later I sat back down to check my emails and headed over to facebook. A friend of mine had invited me to her knitting circle for that coming Friday:) She has a great 'charity' where she knits/donates hats to overseas missions, so we all gathered to learn how to knit the hats and donate our creations.
As I was knitting my hat, I realized that it wouldn't be too hard to create a cacoon like I had seen online. So, I went home and started my experiment. Within 2 hours I had my first cacoon! Yay! I was so excited. I knit a few more hats for my friends mission donation, then created a stash of cacoons for my prop collection.
I decided that since this was so easy, I could offer my photography friends the opportunity to purchase cacoons for their businesses as well, and there you have it:) I am now making/selling newborn cacoons. How much fun is that?!?
I'm also selling to those who want them for baby shower gifts, doll accessories or just because:)
The cost of a cacoon is $25 plus $3 for shipping. Let me know if you'd like one!

Yowza!!
Holy Cow!! It's been too long since I sat down to blog! I must do better!!
So, how have you all been!? I've been creating more marketing material for my seniors, mass mailings, spring sessions and more! It's been fun! I love being able to create my own flyers, business cards, etc!
January is my slow month, so I've had a lot of time to just relax! It's been wonderful! But now I'm ready to get back behind the camera!
I've booked a few session for the spring and highly anticipate that my schedule is going to EXPLODE!! I'll be shooting spring sessions at Wye Mt.'s Daffodil Festival this year and CAN'T WAIT! It's our first spring here in Arkansas and I've been told it's GORGEOUS!
I can't wait to see what this new year brings! I am anticipating great things! New customers, new ideas, new locations and lots of new friends!!
Please call or email to book your spring and summer sessions right now! From my experience, I can tell you that there will be a mad rush in March and April to get spring/summer and senior sessions booked. Don't miss out by procrastinating!! We can always reschedule, but you don't want to miss out completely!!
Have a wonderful day!!!

Big News for the New Year
I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas!! My family enjoyed a trip back to Illinois to celebrate with great friends and family!
I wanted to take a minute to update you all on some big news! I've decided NOT to raise my prices for 2011!! I was going to raise my rates by $50, but after thinking about it and discussing it with my wonderful husband, I have decided to leave everything alone for the next year.
My goal as a photographer is to give you great images at a great price. My overhead is nearly zero since I don't have a studio and work on location, so there's really no big need to raise my rates. I just invested in a new camera and some equipment, so my costs for this upcoming year should be fairly low.
I want my customers to come back year after year. I can't promise that I'll never raise my prices, but for this year things will stay the same. I value your business and look forward to serving you in the coming years!! Have a safe and blessed New Year!!!!

Big Awesome News!
I've started a wonderful relationship with an amazing print company and will now begin to offer my clients the option of making their prints for them. This is an optional service. You'll still receive your disc of images from your session. But if you don't have time or don't know where to go to have your prints made I can offer you that service for a great price:)
I'm still working on my price list, but will have it available soon! If you are a client and you haven't gotten your images printed yet and you're interested in having me do them, just let me know. I'll give you a quote and we'll start rollin'!

Merry Christmas!!
Wow! I feel like I've been neglecting my blog! I've been so busy! Business is booming and I'm loving every minute! Christmas is just a couple weeks away. It's hard to believe! This year has just flown! Just in case I don't have time to get back on here in the next few weeks I'd like to take a minute to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas!!
(Oh, and can someone please tell me why my images are so blurry on this blog! My images look great on my website and in print, but on here and facebook they look so, well, 'blah'. ).

Tia Wind Photography
Welcome to my blog! I'm so glad you stopped by! I try to blog daily, but I'm sure I'll fall off the wagon eventually:) So, here's a little about me.....
I'm a wife, mother, sister and friend. I take my camera EVERYWHERE I go. Creating images that make my customers happy is my one and only goal! I love, love, LOVE getting behind the camera and do so every chance I get! I'm located in the Benton/Bryant/Central Arkansas area.
I'm an on location natural light photographer, which means I come to you and I use whatever light is available. I don't lug around heavy lights and equipment. And the best part about that is the fact that I don't have any overhead! Which means I can offer YOU great pictures at amazing prices!
Enjoy cruising through my blog:) Call me for details on my sessions and investment. I look forward to building my list of new friends and clients!
Enjoy!!!
